Your arrival in the afternoon of day 1 on the 3:00 PM or 4:00 PM flight will consist of shore fishing the remainder of that day and evening. Your departing flights will be 3:30 to 4:30 PM your final day which will consist of boat fishing or shore fishing per your desire.
Policies
Our camp caters to the discriminating sportsman by limiting fishermen per boat thus allowing us to use all possible fishing techniques.
What makes us unique? You will not be fishing in a boat full of fishermen.
We limit all boats to a maximum of 3 fishermen (often 2 per boat). Limiting our boats to 3 people maximum allows us techniques that have proven to be productive anytime. Nothing is more frustrating than watching someone else catching all the fish. There are times when most of the techniques are productive but when the fishing slows down we will change to methods not feasible in boats with 4 to 6 fishermen. You will be glad you are in one of our boats.
We are one of the only camps on the river that offer shore fishing.
Why we rotate guides. Our guides are as experienced as any on the river and by rotating guides everyone is provided an equal opportunity at the best fishing anywhere. No one guide consistently out produces the others but we want to be as fair as possible in each guest equal treatment.
Why we only book the peak of the run. It is much more fun to fish with old friends than it is to live at fishing shows trying to find new guest. In 2006 our returning guest and referrals comprised approximately 70% of our days on the water. There are fish in the river from early June through the end of July but we only book the center of the run in an attempt to assure the best fishing possible.
Being permanently based on the lower river you will not miss any fishing days due to weather as the fly out lodge guests sometimes do when flying is not feasible due to fog or stormy conditions.

Prices include: Round trip float plane transportation from Dillingham, deluxe camp accommodations, first class meal service, top-notch guide service, all fishing tackle and fish preparation.
Prices do not include:Fishing licenses, salmon stamp, gratuities or alcohol.
A gratuity of 15% is customary in the Alaska Sport Fishing industry. Your every need will be catered to by an attentive staff with among the highest staff to guest ratio on the river. If you do not receive the highest level of expected attention please feel free to reflect that disappointment in your gratuity.

Unguided outfitted camp. June 15-July 20. Maximum of 8 fishermen. Minimum of 4. The camp is located on a prime beach on the famous Nushagak River. We provide round trip float plane transportation from Dillingham, wall tent accommodations, sleeping tents with cots, cooking & dining tent, cook stove, lanterns, cooking & eating utensils, paper plates & cups, landing nets.
Boat rental upon request. A boat with motor can be furnished on request for an additional fee of $200.00 per day but is not needed for good fishing. Petroleum products can be purchased at the prevailing rate.
A 50% deposit is required to place a reservation. The balance is due 90 days prior to arrival. . A rebooking fee of 10% will apply for rebooking. All deposits are transferable but non-refundable unless the space can be rebooked. Please make checks payable to Nushagak Salmon Camp. A confirmation will be sent upon receipt of your deposit. Final details of your trip and a "What to Bring" list will be sent upon confirmation.

After the 2004 season Nushagak Salmon Camp LLC. purchased substantially all the assets used in the operation of Jakes Nushagak Salmon Camp from Jake Gaudet. Nushagak Salmon Camp LLC has operated the business of the camp from that day forward. The members of Nushagak Salmon Camp LLC. DBA Jakes Nushagak Salmon Camp are Eli Huffman and Jake Gaudet.
